A beautiful translation of the Deutorocanonical books contained in the official Orthodox version of the Old Testament. These works have been described by the Protestants as Apocrypha. Missing from this edition is the 151st Psalm and the 3rd Book of Maccabees. In the Septuagint Version: The Prayer of Manasseh is appended to II Chronicles; Susanna is at the beginning of Daniel and Bel and the Dragon at the end. Also the Hymn of the Three Young Men is found at the end of Daniel. Thus there are 11 additional books in the Septuagint Version as compared to the King James Bible.
